Buttered Potatoes (Masleni Krompir)
Buttered potatoes with parsley are a very simple and popular side dish usually served with baked or grilled fish.
Recipe
Ingredients:
1 kg potatoes
20 g parsley
60 g butter
1 tsp salt
salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Peel and roughly chop the potatoes into approximately 4cm pieces.
Add potatoes to a large pot and add enough water to cover completely.
Add 1 tsp of salt and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil the potatoes until tender, about 15 min.
Finely chop the parsley.
Put butter into a pan over medium heat, wait for it to melt, and fry parsley for about a minute. Add the potatoes and mix well.
Season with salt and pepper. Buttered potatoes are ready to serve!
