Buttered Potatoes (Masleni Krompir)

Buttered potatoes with parsley are a very simple and popular side dish usually served with baked or grilled fish.

 

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg potatoes

  • 20 g parsley

  • 60 g butter

  • 1 tsp salt

  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Peel and roughly chop the potatoes into approximately 4cm pieces.

  2. Add potatoes to a large pot and add enough water to cover completely.

  3. Add 1 tsp of salt and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil the potatoes until tender, about 15 min.

  4. Finely chop the parsley.

  5. Put butter into a pan over medium heat, wait for it to melt, and fry parsley for about a minute. Add the potatoes and mix well.

  6. Season with salt and pepper. Buttered potatoes are ready to serve!
